This is one of those things you stumble upon while looking in a site that you liked and then being curious about the links thinking, well good guys hang around together arent they?
What you are looking at is a line produced by a GPS traking device on a dog walking in various places and by disconnecting the enviourment and foucusing on the movment, the
GO say it alot better:

GPS tracking allows us to follow the movement of a dog through the landscape. Movement, direction, speed, and tempo are recorded via satellite and the GPS unit. The geographic observatory are truly Geo-Graphic, visualizing environment and Eco issues using art and info graphics that makes that brick in my head move a bit, looking for its right place since it moved by this visuals.
